Clean but old fashioned rooms, a little bit musty and could certainly do with a redecoration. Walls were also quite thin, so could hear noises from next door bathrooms. Fairly friendly staff and a convenient location to get to Acadia.

I made reservation via booking dot come.
Two days later I received email from the hotel owner, strongly recommended that I will cancel my reservation.
The reason: based on my name she assume I’m from israel and they have bad experience with Israelis so she try to convince me to cancel.
Of course I cancel! Not sure why booking dot com give a stage to that kind of discrimination However - I will not tolerant this kind of approach and so should you

"She" is an Israeli too. The assumption that bad things come from women is not surprising. The discussed email was signed by both proprietors ...
In a phone conversation the prospective guest, who never stayed here, got a full explanation and it was clarified that he is welcome to come. The email was just a humorous way to make sure that he is aware of what the motel does and doesn't offer. We sorry that connecting Amit with Israel was accepted as an insult, no offense was meant.

Although the family motel was a bit outdated, the room was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. The owners were very polite and helpful. Continental breakfast was fine. The location was convenient for us.

Overall I would recommend it given the price. I would give it a "B"

This is the quintessential mom and pop roadside motel.
Cozy rooms with the basic essentials.
Clean, safe, and convenient.

They offer a free continental breakfast; cereals, muffins, toast, etc.

Free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate during office hours.
Ample parking.

Lovely and attentive hosts.

Only recommendation I'd have is to open the lobby with coffee earlier, say 6:00, then start the breakfast at the usual 7:30.

Although the people who run this Motel were polite, the property is in dire need of updating and needs attention. The rooms were musty and creeky. The little balcony was not sturdy at all. If you just want to sleep there, it's ok. However do not spend too much time in the rooms. They did have a decent breakfast

Room Tip: look elsewhere for a Motel or Inn

Thanks for your opinion. We understand that our motel is not for everyone. However we would like to point that none of what you said has to do with the quality of service and cleanliness of the rooms.
