A fine short stop if you're in the area. Quick access- easy in, easy out. Enjoyed the drive to get there just as much as the lighthouse.

We went before dinner in town. I nice short hike with a great view. It's a little strange to walk through a backyard but signs say it's ok.

This is a quickie walk, but the view once you get out to the rocks is quite spectacular. This is no more than a 5-10 minute walk, but grab a book to read out by the water. Or just go for a few peaceful minutes to take in the view.

the light house is ok, but there is a sign that suggest taking the path behind the barn, no other markings. We were not sure which was the barn, and felt uncomfortable walking through the yard with the children's ball laying in the grass. There is a family that lives here and we felt as though we were intruding. Didn't take the walk, but others have written that it leads to a nice picnic area.

The light house is not the main attraction, it's the pathway along the backyard that leads to steep stairs to the ocean edge. If you can manage the short, uneven walk, rewarded with a great place for relaxing, exploring and picnic. Very much a getaway for maybe an hour.
