My husband and I stayed here while returning from travels in Canada. We enjoyed the friendly service and clean room at a very affordable price. This is a charming old motor court hotel with character -- but nicely updated with modern conveniences.

Despite its location close to the highway, the room was quiet. It was very clean, however also quite small, as was the bathroom. I think some other rooms are larger -- when we made our reservations, this was all we could get -- so if you are more than two people or are staying longer, do take that into consideration.

We opted to have breakfast at the diner across the street rather than at the motel, so we can't comment on that.

In sum, this is an excellent choice for no frills lodging at a great price.

We stayed here for one night en route to Acadia National Park.

The welcome was warm, friendly and efficient.

Our room was clean, well decorated and comfortable with good WiFi, a fridge and coffee making facilities

If you want to walk in to town for a meal in the evening, it's only 15 minutes away and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from

The breakfast, which is included in the very reasonable rate for the room, was excellent. Waffles, cereal, fruit, juice, yogurt, toast, bagels....we couldn't fault it!!

A really great place to stay, a lovely littke town and an excellent breakfast - highly recommended

We stopped here while in transit to points north. We found a clean and tidy room and a very helpful staff. The rooms are set back from the road and you cannot hear much noise from route 1. There is easy access to the downtown of Brunswick about a mile away. It's just the sort of place you want to stay to break up a long trip in Maine.

It's very easy in and out of the hotel and a great value. I would recommend the Inn to anyone.

We stayed there twice, once going up and again coming down. Two different rooms (37 and 53), and to be frank, 53 was nicer. Decent continental breakfast. Quiet, extremely clean. Lovely people who, due to flight delays, did literally get out of bed to check us in. Comfy bed and pillows. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, lots of towels, hair dryer and everything you could want. Easy to find and they have laundry facilities on site. We would not just recommend, but stay there again. Great experience all-around and a great price for the area.

I'm happy and can't say enough good things about the cleanliness, decor, and comfortable beds. The room was surprisingly spacious...you could bring your yoga mat and feel comfortable on these carpets. The only minor flaw was that the breakfast room was crowded this morning. A few extra tables outside on nice days would solve that nicely. Breakfast was a continental breakfast...waffle maker, English muffins, variety of cereals and bagels, etc. We were just stopping for the night on our way to Bar Harbor but this was a really nice surprise and will likely be back for future stops on the way north. The rooms appeared recently decorated with matching drapes and bedskirts and walls a pretty creamy yellow color. The facility takes extra care with the cleanliness as the woman at the front desk said; they don't have a pool so this is what they do!
