“Always a wonderful experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 November 2011

I have stayed at the Noble House at least 6 times over the past 10 years and have nothing but raves for the inn, the owners, and the entire experience. Yes, it's a bit on the pricey side. But the quality of the accommodations, amenities, and BREAKFAST is unparalleled in any bed and breakfast or inn that I've experienced. Rick and Julie greet as many of their guests as possible on arrival and there's always a jar of home-baked cookies available along with a selection of hot teas, water, etc. The rooms are comfortable and vary in their size, views, and bathrooms. We especially love the Pineview Suite with its screened porch, jetted tub, beautiful views, large bed, and 1st floor location. The bedding is dreamy, towels fluffy and large, and the provided toiletries are also top-notch.

Be advised that some rooms are not air-conditioned. Those rooms do have fans and it is unusual to actually "need" air-conditioning in Maine.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe the breakfasts. They are THAT good! On busy weekends, breakfasts are served buffet style but they are no less gourmet or delicious. On slower days, Rick serves each guest their two-course meal. Dietary restrictions are accommodated where possible and Rick and Julie even remember repeat guests' special requests!

I have stayed here with my husband and with girlfriends. Each stay has been fantastic. A visit to Maine isn't complete without a stay at The Noble House!

We can't say enough about all of the great guests we've had the pleasure of getting to know. It's wonderful feedback such as yours that makes doing this so fun. It's obvious you've been with us a lot and we will continue to work hard to make every stay as good as those you've enjoyed already. Cheers!

We were very surprised to have received this review from almost a year ago. Because of its brevity and age, we did ask the reviewer to provide more details about what the issue was or what we could have done to improve our service, but unfortunately, they have chosen not to respond. As always, we take all reviews (the positive and the constructive ones) seriously and genuinely work very hard to make all of our guests feel comfortable & welcome.

Julie & Rick greeted us warmly at the inn's entry and showed us around the house (pointing out the homemade cookies and other inn amenities along the way!)

The Pineview Room had a wonderful bed, comfy reading chairs and jetted tub. There is also a porch off the room which looked great for hanging out on in the summer. The decor throughout the building is calming, relaxing and interesting.

The breakfasts were wonderful, well-presented and made with fresh, organic ingredients.

If you are looking for things to do in the area or the best-kept secrets for local dining, Julie & Rick know Bridgton!

The inn is clean, quiet and comfortable. It is obvious the innkeepers truly care about their guests and making their stay enjoyable. Next time we're in Bridgton for a getaway, we'll be calling this inn for our stay!

Room Tip: Pineview is at the back of the building facing the pine forest, very relaxing and quiet.

...this is exactly how I would imagine it to be! We loved our stay here and the only downside was that we were only here for one night at the end of our trip. We both wished we had discovered this place earlier as we would have prefered to spend more time here.

We stayed in the Nocturne room which was lovely! The bed was super comfy and we had the best sleep ever - wonderful mattress and bed linens. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable and lots of thought had gone into all aspects of the room and bathroom. The porch off the room was a nice surprise!

There is a lovely cosy den for guests to relax in and also, my favourite bit, the bottomless cookie jar filled, this time, with ginger cookies - delicious! Also because of the season there was hot apple cider - yummy!

Breakfast was very good with different things served every day I think so it would have been good to stay longer to enjoy more!!

This place just made me smile and even a few weeks later I keep thinking about how much we loved it here. Excellent value for money - especially compared to some other places we stayed on this trip. This B&B is a great example to other innkeepers as to how things should be. I notice there is one critical review on here commenting on the booking policy - the policies are clear on the website so if you don't agree with them no need to book. However the booking policies (whilst they may be different to other areas) seem to be common place for establishments in the region. As for having special requirements - surely it is best to make these known at the time of booking to see if they can be accomodated or not.

I have enjoyed looking on their website and reading some of their recipes which I can't wait to try out. Please, please, please can you add the ginger cookie recipe to the online collection as they are yummylicious!!!

We both hope to return to this B&B one day! If you are travelling to Maine make sure you stay here!
