What a hospitable Innkeeper/host with very well maintained property, inside and out. The friendly welcome set the tone, which was maintained over happy hour. Prior arrangements prevented us from dining, but we were tempted by an after dinner dessert and wine, which met all expectations. The breakfast was equally excellent. We stayed in the loft (queen main room, 2 singles adjoining), good linen, toiletries, etc. and not a thing to fault.
The Inn and the town seemed to be a very interesting gem, worthy of a longer stay - next time. Wifi reception was better down stairs.
The black flies (outside) were the only problem, but that is a Maine coastal problem, not just in Blue Hills.
No pool or spa, so?
