Vibrant, casual atmosphere with simple but varied menu. Fast and attentive service. Our group enjoyed the basics, Fried shrimp and oysters, gumbo, crawfish étouffée crawfish. Coleslaw was the only disappointment

Fried food, fried fish, fried shrimp, fried oyster, did I mention fried food?? If you are reading here before going, go to their website and view the menu and decide what you want before you get there! You order as soon as you get to the register in the door!! If you are meeting a group of people, they have or will order when they arrive and you are herded back to the table! Everyone's food arrives in the order they arrived/ordered! Leaving polite guests with covering their orders with paper towels, awaiting other diners' orders to arrive before beginning!

Attentive waitstaff..... every time they brought another diner's order they asked did anyone need anything. After dining, we were allowed to sit and visit and celebrate the reason we were there. But I feel that if the place were packed, as I have read it gets, we would've been 'pestered' to hurry and get out!

Food was expensive fried food...... BUT large portions of it! A glass of tea is a few cents less than a beer!! REALLY?? ($2.49)

Bright spot......... this is now marked off of my Bucket List, though I never had it on there.

It's more of a casual dining experience - Paper towels for napkins, but it does serve good food. Place really noisy on weekends. I don't care for having to place order as you walk in the door and then go sit down. The lines can get long, but if you don't mind that - then the food is pretty good. Once you order, you are usually served within 25-30 mintues - which sometimes can seem a long time - especially if it is at lunchtime.
