This was our first visit, and we were impressed with the gumbo, turtle soup, boudin, sausage, and crab cake. The menu for Thursday lunch featured beef carpaccio and several dishes that were not what I would have expected. The crowd was mostly local, and we were treated warmly. Service was attentive but it took a very long time for our order to arrive at the table.
