This place was pretty disgusting. It was infested with roaches and despite the room being a non-smoking room it smelled like cigarettes and the duvet was spotted with cig burns.
This was not the worst part.
Prostitutes call your room at odd hours. This happened to us a few times and it was always after midnight. When we mentioned this to the management he said that it had to be a guest in the hotel.
This was also not the worst part. The most disgusting and most unbelievable thing was what we found in the nightstand. Right behind the bible we found a penis pump. I didn't know what it was at first so I took it out and after looking it over I threw it in the trash.
How do you explain that one to anyone?! It was pretty embarrassing to even have thought of talking to management.
They really need to be more thorough when preparing a room for a new guest.
And their fitness center is a health hazard. The room had severe mold damage and the machines were inoperable and covered in human sweat.
I would not recommend this place to anyone other than a state health inspector.
We are returning to Lafayette for business again and we won't be staying here. There are better places around with the same price. For extended stays I recommend Woodspring Suites.

This hotel was fine, and not more than that. The kitchen was nice to have -- a refrigerator, two-burner hot plate, microwave, and coffee maker. There were pots and pans.
However: there were some food remains on the chair in our room, stains on the carpet, the cover on the box spring was torn, there were cigarette burns on the duvet. The metal door frame in the bathroom was rusting. The room smelled somewhat.
But it was very inexpensive, and it was fine -- doors locked, air conditioning worked, staff was friendly.

Room tip: Try to avoid the first floor if you can; windows look right out into the parking lot and people will look in as they walk by.

This place is nasty. The room stinks and isn't even clean. They will not refund your money either. My son's asmatic and there's people smoking in the hallway parties in the hall way and parking lot. It's not at all kid friendly.

This was cheapest hotel of our American holiday and we were happy and impressed with it. Stopped driving to escape dreadful weather conditions so checked in early but given room immediately by friendly Proprietor. Hotel has an elevator, free car parking and efficient free WIFI. Our room was quite large and efficiently set out. Full size frig in compact kitchen area. 2 hot plates, pots, pans and crockery. A dining table and chairs nearby. TV chair and bed comfortable and lighting excellent throughout including bedside wall lights for reading. Hotel was close to The Arcadian Village and Vermillionville enabling easy visits to both.

Room tip: 3rd floor smoking rooms. 2nd floor rooms non-smoking.
