Went here on an overnight trip to see the Reds play. The location was almost perfect for this (though the Purple People Bridge was closed). It's a nice walk over the next bridge to the ballpark. Room was small but comfortable. Lobby was very bright and loud. Breakfast was just ok. It was personally cooked, but served in Styrofoam containers--the breakfast potatoes were more steak fries than anything else. The desk personnel were nice. Parking was easy and not more expensive than in the rest of Newport. It is in a small garage on the back of the hotel, across from the lobby entrance.

We stayed in this hotel a few years back when we went to the Kentucky Derby. Hotel lobby and rooms were much fresher then. This time, we were in town for a friend’s birthday. Lobby was much more worn (front carpet in really bad shape) and the rooms a little shabby. Not a huge deal, but the biggest disappointment is that we did not have our room serviced while there and my wife found a roach on the bathroom counter (gross!). We’ll be staying elsewhere the next time we visit.

Very nice hotel. Modern decor throughout. I especially liked the solid surface floors in the hotel rooms as compared to carpet. We got a reasonable rate. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Close to several restaurants and bars. Also close to the pedestrian bridge to Cincinnati.

I only had one small complaint. It was hard to control the temperature in the room. The fan either blew continuously or off. When we arrived it was 78 in our room. It did cool down, but some turning off and on of the fan was involved.

Room tip: The entrance is behind the building rather than on the busy street. The parking garage is also behind the building.

This hotel was great! Room was nice, quiet and comfy beds. There is a fridge in room and a microwave on the floor near the ice machine. The location is excellent, we were able to enjoy Newport on the Levee and downtown cincy. Staff was friendly and helpful with places to see in the area. Only small issue was the female bartender was not friendly and almost seemed bothered that people were at the bar. But we overlooked that for sure because everyone else was amazing! Will be back!

We stayed here for a night when visiting Cincinnati. The hotel is right on the levee and in walking distance to local bars, eateries, and the pedestrian bridge into Cincy. The décor was modern, the beds were comfy, but it felt like it was missing something. Charm, maybe. Also the sliding barn door that made the entrance to the bathroom kept banging against the sink counter which was annoying, especially when trying to sleep and someone gets up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. All in all had a good time. 3 stars.
