The huge playground is fantastic! Our family also enjoyed renting a pedal Duce Coupe and riding across the bridge. We walked and played and had a great time exploring.

We were passing through on a vacation and it was the perfect place to get out some energy and enjoy the city.

Great place to walk, bring the kids or the dog. Art exhibits, playgrounds, "swing garden,". The Lincoln Memorial was an unexpected find for this history buff

I love this park - great for riding a bike - accessible from many parts of the east and wests of town. Many interesting way-points, with sections devoted to families, health enthusiasts, people just walking around.... access to many points of interest downtown, and many seasonal festivals. Plus great river views!

This project was done in phases over many years and with significant investment by the city. The end result is, in my opinion, what has to be one of the more spectacular city parks you will find. The waterfront includes Louisville Slugger Field, one of the largest skate parks in the country and the home of the Louisville Cardinals, the YUM Center. This is all in addition to the park green space and the river. The latest addition is the Big Four bridge - an old railroad span which has been converted into an incredible walking/biking path stretching into New Albany on the Indiana side of the Ohio. There are many reasons to love the city of Louisville but this Park is at the top of my list. A must visit if in town.

Plenty of things to do. Very beautiful view. Great food at Joes Crab Shack. Clarksville Indiana not far from right across the river.
