“Winter Adventure Zip Line Thrill”
Reviewed 30 January 2012

Gathered up the family and friends and made the trek to Louisville, Kentucky to visit an abandoned and reclaimed underground limestone mine. First of all, this mine is located directly underneath Louisville proper. I am told there are some 17 miles of roadway and many large storage locations. But the main thing to know is there is a portion of it dedicated to zip line activities. I was impressed by the level of professionalism, safety and organization. You are attached to a steel cable from the moment you get there to the moment your done. During that time you walk from zip line to zip line across challenge bridges that cross deep valleys (yes valleys) in total darkness with the headlight on your helmet. This author is not afraid of anything, but my knees were knocking. Then comes another zip line. FAST and far, the longest being some 900 feet long. Truly exciting and thrilling. Probably not for the faint of heart, especially if you are afraid of heights. But, you are totally safe all of the time as you are connected to a 5/8 inch steel cable safety line at all times. Really nice equipment and a high degree of professionalism. Highly recommended for the thrill seeker who needs a winter outlet. Always 60 degrees. Nary a ray of sunshine, though.

“Interesting tour”
Reviewed 27 January 2012

It was a cold day, so we decided to go here instead of the zoo ( we'd been there on a previous trip to Louisville). It was a very interesting tour and not too pricey.

“Lights Under Louisville”
Reviewed 22 January 2012

I had never heard of the concept, a holiday display beneath a big city. It was very charming, a little simpler than I had expected, but enjoyable nonetheless.
