My wife and I stayed here for one night and won't do it again. It's dingy, dirty, and smelly. Understaffed, there was nobody at the front desk when we checked in at 6 pm. Waited 5 minutes for her to show up after doing other duties. The person running the breakfast was outstanding but not enough to salvage a crummy hotel.

We booked this room late at night because we were at the hospital waiting for our grandchild to be born and they said to come back in the morning. Since we lived out of town we decided to book a room and there was a festival in town so the choices were limited. I needed two rooms - one for the other grandparents. I called this hotel and was greated with " I need you to hold" in an abrubt voice. When I asked if they had rooms available the woman said she had two kings available and gave me the rate. I told her that we would take them and be there in just a few minutes. Instead of asking for a credit card she said " well you better hurry". ooookay. When we arrived she was smoking on the curb and threw it on the ground when we got out of the car...a little annoyed that we had disrupted her break. She got more friendly when she found out that I was a Choice Rewards member. she had not asked that on the phone. The check in was fine and the room was adequate.
Breakfast the next morning was horrible. At 7am they were out of most items. The milk was sour, the bread and pastries were stale and selection was not all that. We checked at the front desk to find out if we could keep our room for the next night. A different girl at the front desk said that they had rooms available - although to be honest she didnt seem to clearly understand our request. Thinking it would be better to just stay there than try to find anothe place to stay we left our things in our rooms and went back to the hospital. Around 12:30 - about the time our grandchild was born. We get a call from the hotel that we had left our tnings in the room and that unless we came to pick them up they would be put out. We explained that we had been told we could keep the room. NO they were booked up and generally said we were SOW. Come now. The husbands left to get the bags when they talked to the owner - who is the one that called. There was no admission of mistake, no apology nothing. Pretty much - get out of my hotel. Changed my view of Choice Hotels for sure. We will not be back and will be reporting it to Choice.

I apologize for your experience. We did discuss your issues in detail at the property and clearly there is still a misunderstanding. We had no record of you extending your stay, but we tried and actually got you a room at another hotel. I am sorry that you are still dissatisfied. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

We were in Lexington because our daughter was giving birth of our grandson at St Joseph Hospital. We checked in after midnight and our rooms were over $100 due to a Festival in Lexington. We walked in the room and it was so hot, air conditioning wasn't even on low . Next morning at their free breakfast the milk was old and sour, and there were no eggs. We checked at the desk to make sure we had a room for that night as our daughter was scheduled to give birth that day. Desk clerk ASSURED us we had a room. A few hours later I get a phone call at the hospital and a very RUDE man told us to come and get our things or they would be set out. I explained to him that we had checked in and spoke with the desk clerk and she assured us we had rooms and he wouldn't budge. No apology just rude. This man was foreign I don't know if he was the manager but he has no business working with the public. We were also with my son in laws parents who also had a room and this rude man did the same thing to them. So Grandfathers left the hospital not knowing if they were going to miss the birth of the baby and go to this Quality Inn and get our luggage. They received no apology ....nothing....I will never ever stay at this place nor any other Quality Inn again. This man should be ashamed!!! And Quality Inn shame on you for having him talk to your customers and treat customers as he did!!!! I will tell everyone I know to never stay at this place!!!

Thanks for staying with us! Please call us if you have any questions. When we are sold out and you are not reserved for the second night, we can't kick somebody who has reserved a room to accomodate someone else. We tried our best and actually got a room for you at a sister property. We are sorry to hear that you are still not satisfied. Please let me know if you have any questions.

We ended up spending the night here while on a road trip and would have been better off if we had just slept in the car. The price jumped from the ~$80 we were originally quoted to a whopping $106 in less than a minute, and when I inquired about a rollaway bed I was told it would cost an additional $50. FIFTY BUCKS FOR A ROLLAWAY. Most hotels will provide a rollaway bed either free of charge or for a nominal fee like $10-15. For $156 we could have stayed at the Hilton and gotten three beds in a bigger, nicer room at a better location. We didn't have that kind of money so we were forced to do without the rollaway bed, and no one got any sleep that night as a result. Sleep deprivation greatly increases fibromyalgia pain though, and the next day I was in the absolute WORST fibromyalgia pain of my entire life. In the hotel's defense the room appeared to be recently remodeled and for that reason I'm giving it two stars, but the bathroom was untouched, incredibly grungy, and the shower didn't even work properly. We definitely will not be staying here again.

On my visit...no A/C on in the reception area (was at least 90 degrees in there), hot tub was drained after advertising it online, seedy people loitering around, right next door to a Hustler club, exterior "security" doors were a joke. Was told by the other hotel we left for that the entire family lives on the top floor. The desk clerk Ann picked up the phone to call the manager/owner about me wanting a refund, as I stood there. Come to find out she didn't even place the call...she lied! Didn't stay more than 5 minutes and asked for a refund. Avoid this place at all costs. The manager/owner is a douche-canoe.
