A group of volleyball girls stay here for a tournament. When we arrived, we noticed that it was very hot in the lobby. We checked in without any trouble. After being assigned our rooms, we went up the elevator. The hallways were very hot. No air conditioning. We also discovered that our rooms were not together. We went back downstairs to see about getting the rooms switched. There were several people checking in and there was only one person at the desk. We had to wait awhile. But after waiting, the lady at the desk was very helpful and friendly. We got our rooms and went back up. The rooms were very hot. Turned on the air conditioning unit and by night the room was cool. We stayed on the side of the interstate and we couldn't hear the traffic. The room is just your average room. It was clean. The breakfast was good enough. It was always ready at the times posted. The hotel is located close to the interstate and New Circle Road. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. It does have an indoor pool but we didn't use it.

I was here on a business trip and have stayed at this location before.
The good - the hotel is a very good value for the area. The rooms are clean, nice beds, and plenty of floor space to spread out.
The bad - I have always had issues with the staff here for some reason. They seem to always be rude, snippy, or just uninterested. I can't get why just smiling would be so hard.
The pool area should be really nice but alas it isn't. The workout area had a broken A/C and was over 90 degrees plus the TV wouldn't switch from BET. The pool area was very hot and has a dank/musty smell. I think proper A/C would remove this but I guess they don't feel the inventment is needed.

The rooms were drabby and old. Breakfast was good, with limited hot food available. They did have fresh waffles you can make. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Pool and hot tub were clean, but again, outdated.

Questionable people filtered in and out throughout the night. I think I may have witnessed at least 3 prostitute/pimp couples, and one drug deal. A group of very interesting (to say the least) young men wandered around the parking lot all night. There were 2 dogs in a room whining and barking, despite multiple signs saying NO PETS ALLOWED. Comforters were stained, hence me not sleeping and seeing all these night activities. Decor in the hotel is outdated. Out of the 3 floors, 2 had ice/vending machines that didn't work. There was mold around the hot tub. I was looking to have a nice weekend with friends in a hotel, and rather felt the most fear I have ever felt. As one can tell by the length and emotion of this review, I'm extremely displeased and won't forget this experience anytime soon.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Our goal is to provide excellent accommodations at an affordable price, and your feedback helps us know our areas we can improve in order to achieve this. We apologize you did not feel safe and was displeased with the property overall. We are indeed a NO PET hotel, and if there were dogs in a neighboring room, had we been aware of this, they would’ve been asked to leave. We do apologize on this slip up in letting the dogs past the staff. All ice machines and vending machines have been repaired and we check them daily to verify they are in working order. The hotel is under 24/7 surveillance and all entrances are locked at night time so that only registered guests are permitted to enter the building. Guest safety is our top priority! We continue daily to push Comfort Inn Lexington to be the best. Thank you again!

I was very disappointed with the appearnace of the hotel and the lack of guest service by the front desk attendant. When I walked into the front door I was not greet nor when I proceed to the front desk. The desk attendant acted as if I was disturbing him by checking in. He wasn't friendly and did not welcome questions. The hotel is very dated. The carpet and furniture needs to be replaced. The hotel is located right next to an abandoned hotel and behind a Hustle Adult Book; doesn't make for a good place for a family stay. The morning I check out the desk attendant couldn't find any record that I had a room the night before. I was so disappointed with my experience that I checked into another hotel.

Our goal is to provide excellent accommodations at an affordable price, and your feedback helps us know our areas we can improve in order to achieve this. We apologize for the bad experience you had while staying with us. The hotel has since made staffing changes as well as management changes and everyone is greeted with a smile and we are definitely eager to serve our guests. If it weren’t for our guests, we would not have a job, so they are our main focus! We are working on updating the property and the abandoned hotel has been demolished and is no longer an eye sore.
