If you are in Lexington and looking for country good food this is the place. Many of the meals will remind you of meals at your grandmothers house and of mom's home cooking. They have a large variety of foods and desert to choose from. All are good to great and a large drink menu with full stocked bar. If you enjoy good Kentucky Bourbon they have a good selection. I enjoy coming here to have a great home cooked meals with great deserts. They have 2 locations in Lexington, just be prepared to wait a few minutes to be seated as they are always busy.

Met a group of friends for dinner at this casual gathering venue, around 6:15. About 15 seats at a neighborhood type bar, a TV in a room with about 8 2 tops, 2 6 tops, and a few 5’ rounds seating 4-6, and then maybe 8 4 tops.
Drinks were great. Beers served in frosty mugs.
The Hot Brown is the best you’ll find anywhere, including the Brown Hotel in Louisville, where it originated. Several of us ordered the vegetable dinner and highly recommend the sautéed spinach, stewed tomatoes ( a tie with Merrick Inn for best EVER!). The fish sandwich with a side salad was filling as was the chicken sandwich with fried for 2 of the men.
We lingered and talked and nobody hurried us. No room for the famous Missy’s pies!
