Everything about this hotel is loud. It is poorly soundproofed, you can hear the road, other room doors and exterior doors from the room. The heater is louder than most which fortunately drowned out some of the other noise. The plumbing is exceptionally loud, I awoke one time thinking someone started a circular saw in an adjoining room but it was just the toilet apparently. The worst part was yet to come. The hotel is undergoing renovations and the remodeling crew snuck their families into the second floor overnight. The kids were running through the empty rooms till after 1AM. Management claimed to be unaware but seemed to find it humorous when we complained. It was cheap but we would have gladly paid 50% more for 50% more sleep. Would not stay in this hotel again if they gave me a free night.

I've stayed in lots of Hampton Inns, but this one surprised me for the condition and the price. Lots of things need repair, hot tub closed, a door number placard missing, smell of smoke on first floor near no smoking rooms (!?!), our closet door missing, the bathtub tile soap dish resting on the floor. Didn't seem like a Hampton to me. Hot breakfast was good, and the staff was nice enough, but apparently the maintenance guy can't keep up. Seems like this property is ready for a refresh soon.

The carpet was so dirty it left a black slick from our feet when we got into the shower. Our stocking feet were black on the bottom. You had to pull the entry door hard to make sure it was closed when you left. Good location near Mammoth Cave

Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms, would recommend. Also the complimentary breakfast was great with hot foods, it was a busy morning, when we stayed, the hotel was fully booked but they easily kept up with refilling all the items to ensure everyone got the same experience.

Staff are super friendly and recommended an excellent restaurant from which to order delivery service. Our group of 14 did not want to drive any additional miles that day! We ate at a large table in the dining room and stayed there to play cards and drink a few adult beverages from our coolers. Although we were a bit noisy, the staff never complained. Rooms were old, no refrigerators, but otherwise very clean. Comfortable beds, and quiet, even though next to a freeway.
