Owner description: Established in 1998, Turdo Vineyards is now in its 10th vintage. A family owned and run operation, Turdo Vineyards is known for producing award winning, premium hand-crafted wines. Including italian varietals such as Sangiovese, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and its signature wine, Nero D'Avola. All the fruit used is 100% estate grown, with the main focus being quality, not quantity. Owner and Master Winemaker, Salvatore Turdo's passion and commitment, has established Turdo Vineyards as New Jersey's most distinct vineyard & winery. We look forward to seeing you soon.

We love going to Turdo Vineyards. Last visit (summer 2016) we bought a bottle of a lovely rose, and some cheese, and sat outside on the patio, having conversations with one another and with some folks also seated nearby. I was happy to see that the patio is dog-friendly, and we visited with some great pups as well as lovely people. Turdo's wine tasting is always enjoyable, and members of the family have been in the tasting room every time we have visited - we have been going there since at least 2010, possibly earlier. I like several of their wines and we usually buy some wine to restock our wine rack at home. I would recommend for a relaxing afternoon.

After the disappointment of our visit to the Cape May winery, we stopped and visited Turdo Winery. What a great surprise. The owners run a very traditional winery with some very pleasantly surprising, wonderful tasting wines. While they only had (4) wines available late in the season, they were all wonderful. Their Pinot Noir was my favorite of this tasting. Amazing fruit flavors, nice body, and smooth drinking. The owners and their family conduct all the tastings in their winery, and are very informative and also very happy to answer questions and talk with customers about their tasting experiences. This was a very nice overall experience.

Enjoyed an hour of tasting wines and talking about the process. They have a reasonable selection of local wines and the prices are competitive.

Small family-run winery that prides itself on quality! Sara was awesome and the wines delicious! Our favorite was the Pinot Noir! Bring lunch or cheese/crackers and treat yourself!

Legit vineyard being a cert Somm I can truly appreciate this vineyard & worth the visit. Met the son of the owner in the fields Lucca, great guy if you get a chance to meet him ask about the vines going back 19 years which says something about growing in Cape May. Cindy the wine educator in the tasting room is friendly and has an outstanding way of describing the varietals. You're lucky if you get her however I'm sure everyone at the vineyard is just as good.

Try the Barbera & Pinot Noir.
Sit outside, enough shade & quite.
Small snacks available
Two friendly dogs on property
Parking available roadside/baseball field
