Rundown hotel with no hot tub. Front desk employees were not pleasant or helpful. Called ahead for a nice view and got a terrible view. They said would you like a view of river or city? I said river. Didn’t get that either. Would not recommend this place. First room they put us in was dingy and dirty.More

We stayed here twice in a week, once on the way south and then on the way back. Our first stay was great, we stayed for 2 nights and it was great. We were only partially facing the highway and we didn't hear any noise. We were on the 6th floor. Room was clean and was 5 stars.
When we came back though we only stayed 1 night, we were on the 10th floor and facing the highway. It was so noisy I couldn't sleep. They do have double doors to block out the noise but it doesn't work. I also always sleep with earplugs and I still couldn't sleep. Also the toilet constantly ran and was stained on the inside, which isn't a big deal but, you know, fix the toilet, clean the set in stain...
The pool area is nice and my daughter had fun swimming. No spa though. They also put out coffee every morning (I don't drink it so don't know the quality) and in the afternoon cucumber and/or lemon water which was a nice touch. The area is very convenient to a lot of fun things including the baseball stadium and the Newport Aquarium. We e stayed here again because the first time was good but Im unsure if I would again. Only if I could be guaranteed to not be on the highway side.
My son and I stayed here on the last leg of a baseball stadium road trip. When we arrived to check-in there was a line 6 deep and only one person working. Now, there were two people behind the counter but the gentleman had ZERO interest in dealing with the people actually waiting to check-in. After about 35 minutes we were assigned our room on the third floor.
Fo some reason we (two healthy non-handicapped males) were assigned a handicap accessible room. The hotel is circular so the rooms are oddly shaped to bin with. But the modifications made to the bathroom to make it accessible rendered the bathroom almost unusable. The grab rod next to the toilet stuck out so far that it was almost impossible to actually sit down on the toilet. And when we did attempt to sit down we discovered that the toilet seat itself was barely attached. I won't even get into the condition of the flooring in the accessible shower which was a shade of yellow/brown.
After getting back to the hotel after the Reds game we went to sleep. Room 334 happens to be located at the exact height of the highway that runs right next to the hotel. So, my room was incredibly noisy and dominated by the constant intrusion of headlights from the highway. I am not noise-sensitive at all, but this place was incredibly noisy.
But the best part was my son waking up in the morning and asking me "what is this?" Only to find a large old urine stain on the sheets of his bed. Upon check-out I informed the manager of my experience. He asked me to email him the photo (which I did). His only response to all of these issues was, "Ill bring it up with housekeeping."
So, needless to say I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs.
We are very sorry you were disappointed with your stay. First when you book thru Priceline all that is guaranteed is accommodations for however many people the reservation was made for and in this particular instance it came across as a handicap room. We probably could have moved you but sometimes we are sold out and don't have regular doubles available.
It is also imperative that you close both doors for maximum sound proofing and pull the black out drapes. This is actually the first complaint I can remember receiving about headlights shining in the room. We have passed on your concern to housekeeping about the sheets. When you prepay thru a third party it does impact what we can do for you when checking out as you have not paid the hotel directly. We appreciate your feedback and hope you had a good time at the game.
Wow. Worst experience I have had in a long time. Dirty, broken, and aged hotel. Right off the rip, the hotel stinks…as in smells dirty. Opened up the room door and the room was hot as a furnace. A/C was broken. Advised the front deck who was nice…waited for maintainence guy. While waiting, noted that the toilet was broken. Checked the bed for bugs and the mattress was blood-stained (think murder scene). Yea…we were out! Wish I’d been quick to think to snap a pic, but was too disgusted. I’m a firefighter and have seen some gross rooms…and this is up there on the list. Headed across the river for the Marriott. Wish I’d have done that first. At least you can learn from my mistake. I will say that the desk staff was pleasant but not too surprised that I was leaving.

We are very sorry that you had such a poor experience. I had housekeeping check that room and the stain on the bed was barbecue sauce, not that that is good but it was under the mattress protector. That room has been fixed and deep cleaned. We appreciate your feedback and again we are very sorry for your inconvenience.
Stayed in room 323 and it was not very clean and had some issues. The shower had a few hairs in it and would not drain properly, about 2" of water standing in tub while showering. The toilet handle was loose and then came off during the night. I would have changed rooms but it was late. You had to remove the tank lid and manually flush the toilet. The duvets where dirty with makeup on one bed and dirt on another. The fridge has a freezer that need to be defrosted, ice was hanging down into fridge. The air-conditioner was very cold but it sounded like an engine at times. Room had a balcony but there are no chairs on balcony. Probably would not have sat out there anyways because you are overlooking the interstate and/or the burger king drive thru. The hotel is not near the water as the name may imply. The room cost $250 for the night!
We are very sorry you had so many issues with your room. I will pass these concerns on to our maintenance and housekeeping departments so they can make the necessary corrections to those rooms. Price though is more about location and demand. There was a concert and baseball game that night and our rate was probably about average, but as a good will gesture for all the problems I gave you a credit on your room. Please allow a few days for that to show up.
We made reservations, We were very excited to stay at this hotel. I am very sorry to say this hotel was extremely disappointing! Very dirty! The only thing that saves this place is the nice view and the revolving restaurant! The hotel needs some serious help in the housekeeping department. Very sad this hotel was a huge let down!
