We made a point of stopping here while on vacation. First of all, let me explain how kind and helpful the owners are. We bought a geode, which they will cut for you with their big saw. We already had a MUCH larger geode in the car and when we asked, the lady agreed to cut it for us too. There was all manner of kitsch here, just as you'd expect. There were also some darned nice pieces, if you're a rock and gem collector. Do not miss the Mystery House. It's a great opportunity for some memorable photos and the girl who gives the tour is cute as can be. If you have vertigo at all, you might want to skip it though. It will throw you off. And don't miss seeing Big Mo, either the concrete representation or the fossilized skull. There are two sides to this shop. The main building has a little bit of everything and the one across the parking lot has the serious gems and rocks. This isn't Disneyland, folks, but you'll have a lot of laughs here and find a few trinkets. And where else are you going to see a giant Mosasaur skull?
