This is a great, unassuming little spot to stop while on the road, with easy access from the interstate, but serving lots of locals. We had excellent fried catfish, which was nicely cornmeal-breaded, and the grilled ham and cheese, which, while simple, probably tops anything your mom made for you. They offer the full bacon, eggs and pancakes menu as well as burgers, hot dogs, shrimp, chicken sandwich, Philly, and chili. Great prices too.
N.B., They close after lunch, and whether it's a pro or a con for you, they have a smoking section.
