I would say this historic hotel is worth a look especially if your like something different than the traditional chain hotel. Our room and the adjoining one had some furniture that seemed a bit worn (we poked our head in thinking it was a closet and turned out to be an adjoining room that hadn't had the door closed and locked. Oops! Fortunately no one was in there)
The front porch is delightful however the hotel is located at a four way stop and some of the traffic noise can be annoying.
There is also a lovely patio along the side of the building that is nicely lit in the evening. My husband and I enjoyed a night cap sitting there and admiring the beauty of the building after our wonderful dinner in the hotel dining room. The staff was great as well.
I say give it a try!More
