I stayed in Room 304, an Accessible Lakeview room. View was lovely, some dark brown paint drops on the window marred it a bit. Very clean. Pillows and linens were lovely. Towels were rough but adequate. TV was ultra high definition. Easy safe. Mini-fridge much appreciated. As with the coffee maker you have to plug it in yourself, but quick to cool down. No microwave or cooking of any kind allowed in room. Shower has a seat (no bathtub) and I found the whole place very accessible. There is also a wheeled office chair. The room is right by the elevator and pop machine, so you get to hear people's conversations lol but there's the bathroom between outer wall and bed, so not too noisy to sleep. Hair dryer was good, it actually dried long hair.

The hotel itself just seemed to be missing a few touches. Pets are not allowed - boo!The lobby was pretty dingy with a basket of scary fruit and lemon water that didn't look safe to drink. There is only one elevator I could find in the entire hotel, and parking was very limited, but the hotel was full with a big act at Danceland. Roads were snow covered. The gift shop was closed when I wanted ro shop and use my coupon.

The enormous mineral pool is the best reason to come here. Unlimited access with your stay. Pool towel provided is small and rough, but the room robes are sublime. The pool staff was excellent and helpful for all sorts of people with extra needs. The pool clock was an hour fast, not sure why no one would change it, but I definitely recommend the pool experience.

Please let us know when you have new kitchen staff and we will consider returning. I have never eaten 2 worse meals. The waiter tried but the quality and preparation of the food is the worst I have seen. Steak that was not chewable. Pizza that was raw....once I cooked it at home it was a waist of power because it was still terrible....no taste, hardly any sauce, cheese or toppings. It takes work to mess up a pizza that badly. Really sad as the restaurant used to be quite good.

When we spent $300 for a room with a King size bed and jacuzzi we thought we would be getting a luxury suite, and we certainly thought we would get friendly customer service. We thought wrong.
Manitou Springs Resort is old and run down. They are dishonest in charging as much as they do for their rooms. Some of the railing in the swimming pool area was held together with duct tape. I kid you not. Much of the hotel decor has not been updated since the 1970s. The wooden window frames in the restaurant were rotting.
Upon check in we asked if we could get a bucket of ice brought to our room with wine glasses. "We don't offer that kind of service here," was the response. "Not even for a $300 room?" "No." We were disappointed because we paid extra for a little bit of luxury for one night, but we were not to be offered such a thing.
There were not even any real cups in the room, let alone wine glasses.

We had our swim in the salty pool and enjoyed it. The restaurant was ok, but nothing fancy at all. The over all staff attitude is not one of service, although our waiter was an exception.

I would recommend against going to this hotel until there is new management and they change their attitude. At the moment they are just ripping people off.

Room tip: Bad service attitude and way over priced, not reasonable value for money.

We left Alberta to travel to Manitoba. On our way back because it’s such a long drive we decided to stay at this spa hotel. Calling to make a reservation the lady I spoke to I could hardly understand and politely asked her to slow down so I could understand her. I wanted to give her my CAA card but because it was 90% full she wouldn’t take it. We arrived shortly after 5:00. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Then went down to pool till 6:50 and wanted to have something to eat at the pool side restaurant and the fellow said he was closing early. No signs up to say that. He said it would take too long to make a hamburger because he was closing early. So he did finally say he’d make a chicken burger. In morning we wanted to use pool early before we went back on our trip. Unfortunately the pool doesn’t open till 9:00. My husband decided then to go for breakfast in the bigger restaurant. Only one server and restaurant was full and people were asking for coffee and waiting patiently for their meals. So my husband left. We packed up and left.
I asked the lady at the front desk who are the people who own this hotel. She said they were from out east and there is about five different partners. I think they need to know that if this is supposed to be a popular spa place to go in Canada. they need to change these things. Even the toiletries should be top quality , not a mix match of soap, shampoo and lotion. All in all this place doesn’t have good customer service. We won’t be back.

Wonderful little town! Charming, lots of lake, indoors is outdoors 🤗. Arrived at end of season with winter in its heels. Stayed at Manitou Springs Spa Resort. Great room, all needs met. Only problem was there were no openings at the spa during my stay due to staff shortages. Wish I had known this when booking... my mistake apparently for not asking. Mineral pools were warm but not the cleanest, used them everyday anyway). The inhouse restaurant is mediocre at best. There are far better places to eat, like Mulligan's and Beach Cafe, where food, friendliness and chit chat is top notch! Great little 9 hole golf course, bring clubs! stuffed myself at Danceland banquet, fabulous old dance hall with horse hair floors lol. Saw some local art, went to drive in, looked at chainsaw sculptures, and beautiful dancing northern lights! I'm coming back, but will rent an aurbnb instead, and when I can enjoy that incredible lake in the summer!!

I love the mineral pool and the hotel amenities are really nice. I like to stay in the 2 bedroom suite which is outside the hotel and up the hill. This is my third time staying in the past year. My daughter, my two grandsons and I spent a weekend here last year and wanted to repeat the great time we had. On arrival, I learned we were not booked into the 2 bedroom suite, rather a one bedroom. I had to endure an intense, insulting argument with the manager, Navil, who basically told me my options were to take it or leave it. It seemed important for me to know that the person who screwed up on the reservation had been fired. We finally arrived at a reasonable compromise and he generously gave me two bottles of wine. Unfortunately, the bumpy start continued. There was one queen bed in the bedroom and my daughter and I had to sleep on a hide-a-bed that we couldn't open. Maintenance had to come open it for us. There was only one pillow and no extra bedding, so the maintenance guy had to bring that to us. There was a broom but no dust pan, no drain stop for the kitchen sink, no towel bar on the bathroom door, a huge crack in the floor of the shower and the floor underneath was really spongy. There appeared to be mold around the base of the shower as well.

The stove top was damaged, the dishes were sub par...one bowl, one wine glass, mismatched dishes. There was a kettle, toaster, cutting boards, pots and pans but no large sized bowels that we could mix our salad in. The unit definitely feels neglected and needs some TLC. I would never stay in this suite again.

Room tip: If you want a suite, book #01
