We love the suite #1...it has 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, nice deck out back, with a barbecue and very roomy. I had discussed with the staff how bad the pull out sofa was, (from a previous stay) and they said they got a new one!! Honestly, must have paid a couple hundred for it, its worse than the 1st one, makes me sad (my poor sister had to sleep on it for 3 nights...awful!!)....This is an old motel across the road, from the main hotel...charging $250 a night and they can AFFORD decent furniture!!!! The curtain is just about falling down, too, with a $20 curtain rod!! The front step to come in is almost caving in from old lumber. When we got there, we were going to cook some foil wrapped baked potatoes, turned on the oven and it smoked so bad, it was awful and the fire alarm went off, finished the potatoes on the BBQ outside!! The toilet seat was almost falling off, its so loose. Its' so sad, because this could be so nice, and its not!! The beds are decent, but a steel rod cuts into the back of your knees if you try to sit on the edge (??) weird!! No chair in bedroom to help a person get dressed either. NEEDS a screen door , on the back door!! PLEASE DO BETTER!!! We want to love it, and we almost do!!! We did have lots of nice towels. I am somewhat handicapped and the handicap parking to go into the spa, is not good..its on an uphill grade..with concrete blocks to step over , then steel railings to get around and broken up concrete on the ground VERY awkward and dangerous...Last time we went in the winter and it wasn't decently shoveled out in the handicap parking, either. I find the spa is awkwardish for handicap people , its a chore to get out of the hot pool and into the cool pool, and if you are in a wheelchair, I think you can't even go in the cool pool... My friend took her husband in a wheelchair, and the ramp up and down to the hotel rooms is awful , for the person helping push it uphill, and hang onto it down hill..She quit going, plus no bathroom on the check in point, after you drove hours to get there.
