Wednesday night around 7pm. The place was PACKED. We were visiting from out of state. There were five in our group, three of which were local residents and they chose this restaurant. I ordered the least interesting food as I have dietary restrictions - chicken soup and salad. The salad was pretty basic and the soup was CURIOUS at best. When you hear "chicken" soup it brings to mind chicken broth base with chunks of white meat, wide egg noodles, carrots, celery, onion with some seasoning. This bowl of soup looked NOTHING like that even remotely. This bowl of soup looked like minestrone, it was highly spiced and what few noodles there were (angel hair) were stuck on the bottom of the bowl. Found it interesting that my food, the easiest to prepare, was delivered to the table LAST after all the other entrees. Upon ordering, our server was told that there would be a takeout order attached to our table. He said - no problem, he would get it ordered by the time we were ready to leave. When our meals were done and we asked for the bill, we discovered our server hadn't listed the take out order on the bill and neither had he ordered it from the kitchen. Hence, we now had to wait extra time for that order to arrive at the table. Bottom line - the out of town visitor's were unimpressed by the food AND the service. To us - just ANOTHER "sports" bar sitting on the corner with mediocre service, overpriced food and really noisy atmosphere. I didn't drive 650 miles to put up with this.
