Every one was really friendly and helpful. The first night there was really hot in the room. Was taken care of immediately. Rooms were nice and clean. Great activities for children. Park was clean. Lifeguards were plentiful and very alert to what was going g on.

We visited the Great Wolf Lodge March 2017 for 2 nights over a weekend. In our party there were 5 adults and 6 kids ages 1, 5, 7, 12, 14 and 18 yrs. This is a kid friendly hotel. The waterpark is fun for all ages. There are pools and waterslides for the toddlers and pools and water slides for all ages. Life jackets are available if needed. They have a game room that gives tickets out for everything and the kids can build up quite a pile of tickets to use for prizes.\before you leave. The Magi Quest is a lot of fun as the kids try to open and receive clues different items around the facility. There is story time in the lobby at bedtime and the kids get to meet some of the Animal characters from the Great Wolf Lodge. Rooms are very spacious, most rooms sleep at least 6, but they do have other rooms that accommodate more with bunk beds and other fun areas for the kids. Our room had two queen size beds and a pull out sofa, and a refrigerator. I do recommend that you go to the pool early and get a table as these fill up really fast as do the chairs around the pool. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and had trouble finding anywhere to sit as everything was taken. Walked around for quite a while till a couple came open. So next morning we hit the pool as soon as it opened and staked out a table and enough chairs to accommodate our family.

We had the kids cabin as we have 5 kids. The cabin in the room with the bunk beds and kids tv is great, the kids loved it. However, the beds were not so comfortable. The mattresses were covered in some kind of vinyl and were smaller than average so the fitted sheet did not fit properly. If you turn over in bed one time, the sheet is off the mattress and you are lying on vinyl. The room temperature was ridiculously hot. In spite of having the air conditioning turned all the way down, our room never cooled off. So the people in the bunk beds are left sweaty and sticking to their vinyl mattresses. The queen bed was comfortable and the gas fireplace was nice. There were no tv channels for very young children (nick jr.). The water park was great. Kids loved it and want to go back. We have three toddlers and the little slides for them were great. They had a ball. Plenty for the older kids too. Our big complaint about the place it the cost. For the price they charge to stay there, they should be generous with the amenities, however, this is not the case. No complimentary breakfast. The restaurant was ok but not great and very pricey. The arcade room is a joke. This is no Chuck E. Cheese where all the games are like one token and the games with prizes are set on "easy". You load your card with money and it's gone after two or three games because they are at regular prices. The skill cranes should be set for kids to be able to get their prize relatively easy, after all this is a place for kids. Not the case. The boutique for hair and nails is very pricey. NOTHING is included here. If you book a vacation here, get a deal through Groupon or something, do not pay full price. Then, stick to the water park and forget everything else. Your money for games, food, and souveneir items can be better spent elsewhere. The are where the lodge is located is full of stuff to do so you do not have to travel far.

Our time needed to be cut short by one day because our 3 ten year old grandsons were getting restless. We had originally planned to be there 3 days. We stayed two. Next time it would be one day if we come again.
