We came down here because we were going to the Indiana Grand Casino for my husband and my birthday. When we first walked into our room, there was trash on the floor. We went down and told the front desk staff and there wasn’t even a sorry. We went to the casino and when we came back, we tried to relax and watch tv. However the batteries in the remote were dead. We called down to the front desk to see if they had any, and the guy told us no. We asked if we could get a different remote (because it was 2am and we didn’t want to get up and down to change channels or the volume or to turn it off when we were there to relax) and he said he would call us back. There was no call. We got up the next morning to eat breakfast and the waffle mix was so thick, when you tried to eat the cooked waffle, it was like eating peanut butter. It was so thick, you could barely eat it. Then we asked the front desk staff for batteries, and low and behold, they had plenty, which means the guy that was working the desk on the night shift LIED to us! We were even willing to come down and get the batteries, so there was no reason, besides pure laziness, for him to lie. Any how, we never got a sorry when we told the day shift that we had been lied to, and even tried to get ahold of the GM, and never received a call back. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

Traveling through the area we needed a place to lay our heads after a long day of driving. Little did we know that every hotel was booked in a 100 mile radius of Indianapolis due to a National Firefighter's convention. Except this particular hotel had one room left. So we drove an extra 25 miles east of the highway we were traveling on to sleep. Front desk clerk was very friendly and inviting. We were just happy to find a room after searching in every little town from Louisville, KY until we got here. Hotel was older and under construction, but at the end of the day as long as the room was clean we were happy. It was, we would gladly stay here again or another Comfort Inn if needed. Free continental breakfast and reasonably priced rooms.

We always stay at this hotel because it is close to Indiana Grand Casino. Jump on the interstate and it's the next exit and less than 30 minutes from Indianapolis! Always clean rooms and friendly staff. They have an indoor pool, but we've never used it. Looks to be clean though. They have the typical continental breakfast.

The hotel was nice. They were in the middle of some renovations, but the room was still clean.
The billing problem was that a $30 pet charge was added to the bill. We don't travel with a pet or even own one.
I didn't look closely enough to the paper that was slid under the door in the morning. Saw it when we got home just by accident. We called the hotel and they removed it promptly. But, what if we hadn't seen it on the bill?

The first floor was undergoing renovation but it did not affect our stay. The second and third floor had recently been renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. They even had Greek yogurt!!! I would stay there again.
