This hotel is a bit dated. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I thought the price, however, was a bit much for a facility of this age. There was a leak in the area of a ventilation duct in the hall that was a bit precarious. The A/C unit had a bit of a rattle but functioned well. This hotel is extremely well located for work in Burns Harbor, Indiana with eating establishments near by.

Thanks for choosing our Hotel.

The Fitness Center, Lobby, and guest rooms were renovated in 2013. the guest room renovation included new soft seating, art work, draperies, carpeting, and painting. As the Hampton Brand evolves into the Forever Young Initiative, our next scheduled renovation is likely to occur in the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Stayed two nights here as I was traveling between Chicago and the upper Michigan peninsula. The hotel is appears to be an older, very small Hampton. The property is placed right off the interstate, but seems sort of out of place. My view literally backed up to someone's backyard. Not kidding, either. Nothing wrong with it, though. Just unique. Looks like it caters to a lot of repeat business or just business in general. Staff that I met were friendly and helpful. I stayed here because it was cheaper than the other hotels in and around the area. Not sure I would stay here again, though... Again, nothing particularly bad about the location, just would try others first.

The staff at this hotel were amazing! So courteous, professional and helpful. The location was wonderful! Close to everything. The size of the indoor pool was smaller and the water was cold. The ice machines were not working. There was no microwave or mini fridge in our room, a mini fridge could be rented for an additional $5 per day, we had to wait for one to become available.
Great vacation, fabulous memories!

I shared your kind remarks with the entire team. Our apologies for any inconvenience. We have followed up with the manufacturer regarding the delivery of a new 1st floor ice machine. The request for delivery was made several days ago. The ice machines on the 2nd and 3rd where unable to keep up with the demand from guests who emptied them daily to fill their huge ice chests.
The Hilton Brand does not mandate ownership groups to provide mini fridges and/or ice machines as a complimentary amenity. They are standard equipment in our whirlpool suites. We have a few sets available on a first come first serve basis for a nominal rental fee. Thanks for choosing our Hotel. We hope that you will choose to stay at our Hotel again.

My family and I love staying here, we are about 10 min away from the beach fronts that are clean and friendly. The staff makes you feel like they have known you forever, rooms are clean and pool area is clean. We always have a great experience when we visit.

Only complaint . Pillows too soft, can't hear tv with whirlpool jets on. Breakfast Could of been better. But the price, location, staff, was all well. The rooms were very well insulated so we couldn't hear much either so bonus.
