Helpful staff. Very convenient location near Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indianapolis Convention Center. Also very convenient when getting on/off the freeway. There's parking behind the hotel, but it was often full, so we usually used the complementary parking garage a short distance away. It was great to have the kitchen facilities available in a Staybridge Suites hotel, so it felt like home for the 4 days we were there. Would stay here again!

We stayed in late August for a long weekend to attend the Moto GP race at IMS. We lucked out in finally having a Colts preseason game at home that weekend as well. The great - staying here meant walking to the game and not messing with traffic. The good - staying here also meant we could walk to Meridian for food and fun at night. Yes, it was a little bit of walk, but we were not bothered by walking. The okay - this hotel does not have an ice machine for hotel guests to access without going through the front desk. The ice machine in our room didn't produce more than 2 batches of ice each day. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, great for 4 adults to sleep but tight for hanging out in the living area as a group (plus the 2 others staying down the hall). Breakfast was okay, not great. The front desk staff was pretty helpful in answering questions for us. Parking lot behind the hotel was a little tight. The night of the game, we knew that would be an issue and planned for being back from IMS early. You can't deny how awesome it is to have the view of Lucas Oil Stadium outside your room every day. There was no room service on the weekend, which was fine since we were aware of this. I will say that the front desk didn't tell us this, I knew this from reading reviews and reading the sign in the bathroom, however it wasn't a prominent sign and our other party staying here didn't realize that. Would we stay here again? Probably. The cost is a bit high, but we weighed the cost against knowing we were at the stadium and downtown and wouldn't have to mess with parking down there. The drive to IMS is pretty easy and it's in a pretty quiet area of downtown.

Room Tip: Not all rooms face Lucas Oil Stadium. I was told the 2 bedroom suites all face Lucas Oil when I called. Because we had another party staying in a 1 bedroom, I called after reserving online to ask for us to be on the same floor. They stated the 1 bedroom suite may not have a view, but the 2 bedroom would. As it turned out, the 1 bedroom suite did face the stadium.

We chose the Staybridge Suites as we were in Indianapolis to watch the Packers defeat the Colts with our small dog & most of the lodging Downtown was sold out. We were given a "dog room" on the 2nd floor for an additional $75 pet fee. I believe the inhabitants of room 211 before us must have "bunked" with a pack of wolves. Not only did the room smell like a sordid kennel, but there were stains every where as witness to past beastly soil. Our little pup was scratching for 3 days & it was difficult to sleep. The suite itself was large, with a kitchenette & nondescript decor.Rooms were "lightly cleaned," & sheets were changed once a week.Cleanliness was not next to godliness.Parking cost 12 bucks & if the lot was filled, you had the privlledge of using a parking structure 2 blocks away. The hotel is only 2 blocks from Lucas Oil Stsdium. That's it's only saving grace.

Very Convenient to Lucas Stadium. It's a little pricey for non-event nights though. Room and hotel are clean. Since this is a exteneded stay there is no room service on weekends. Parking is limited especially during events. Here's a tip if you don't stay here: don't pay for parking during events, just park here. They don't enforce it!! We had to park in parking garage a block away. There are no convenient restaraunts in the area. I would stay here again if attending stadium event only.

The hotelroom was great, it has a great L shaped layout with a nice well stocked kitchenette, bed with sitting area. I loved it. The evening reception was a very very nice touch and good food and nice wine and beer. The breakfast was also very good. My family was displaced because of a flood in our home. We chose to stay here and it was the best decision, it was truly a home away from home. We will be back to visit. No it's not right in the middle of downtown and you have to walk about 3 blocks to get to the edge of downtown but its still pretty close especially for the price. Righ across the street from Lucas Oil stadium and a few bar and grills are down the street.
