Fantastic food, great conversations, very convenient location to expressways and the race track, as well as downtown area. Room was very clean, as soon as our tickets are reserved for next year we'll be making reservations to return here for our stay.

Room Tip: We stayed in the American Room, king size bed, quiet and cool, perfect for us.

We stayed here shortly before Christmas and were pretty blown away by the attention to detail and the hospitality provided by our host. Renata is extremely welcoming, and her breakfasts are the stuff of legend - no silly continental breakfasts here, just wonderful home cooking like mother used to make. If we could've taken Renata back to England with us we would've done!

Central Indianapolis is just a short drive away as is the airport so very convenient for those on a layover. Surprisingly, there is very little noise, so no problems for those who just want a bit of peace and quiet. I'm pretty noise intolerant, but i had no problems here at all.

Plenty of restaurants and shopping downtown and Renata is a mine of information on places to go/see.

The rooms are beautifully furnished, clean and quiet, which was welcome after an eleven plus hour trip from London. In short we loved it and we'll be returning soon.

Room Tip: Lovely huge bed in the Presidents room, brilliant for those who need a little more space.

This was my first time ever staying at a bed & breakfast, and I must say that I was very satisfied with the experience. I was with two other members of my family for a trip to the Final Four in Indy. We arrived on a Friday, and Renata welcomed us with open arms and a freshly prepared fruit salad for us to enjoy after 14 hours on the road. We checked into our rooms and headed off to downtown for the games. After we returned late into the night, we all enjoyed a very comfortable and quiet night's rest. In the morning, a hot breakfast was waiting on us downstairs. There were two other couples staying there as well, and we all enjoyed the breakfast together as we talked about the previous night's games. The next few days there were just as much a treat. We went about our business in Indianapolis, seeing some of the sights and attractions, and always returning to find a quiet and restful experience to help us recharge for the next day. The breakfasts were always filling and tasty, and there were always some special treats prepared for us to eat during the evenings when we returned. It was really like staying with family, as we sat around and visited with the other guests, ordered pizza to eat with everyone there, and went off to bed to get ready for another day. Renata was always helpful to get us a taxi when we needed to go downtown, offered us snacks and beverages to have when we wanted them, and make sure we all were comfortable in our room. The rooms were well-appointed, with private bathrooms for each room. The beds were comfortable, and there were TV's in our rooms as well. The living room downstairs had a large TV where we could sit and watch and relax. On the day we left, Renata prepared a traditional European breakfast with fresh breads, assorted sliced meats and cheeses, and fresh fruit. She even sent along a bag of food for us to eat along our long drive home. All in all, I would most definitely recommend staying here. It's just a stone's throw from the airport, and very conveniently located near the racetrack and a short drive from downtown Indy. As I said before, it was like staying with family for the few days I was here. Forget staying in a dull hotel on the interstate... stay somewhere where the innkeeper knows you by name and you get a level of service like none other. Better yet, it will cost you less than staying at some chain hotel and you get more. Pay Renata a visit when you visit the Circle City!

Stayed at Renata's in early November, 2009. The bed and breakfast was quiet, clean, comfortable and you couldn't ask for a more pleasant owner. The house and rooms are done up very well and are worth the value. The location is not far from downtown Indianapolis (10 minutes), so consider this bed and breakfast if you are going to a convention. I had a superb breakfast with the owner.
