Two couples met at the Stream Cliff Winery for a gentle day of relaxation and touring. Stream Cliff, a bit out-of-the-way, was an ideal, low-key place to mutually meet, tour, dine and generally enjoy the day. Neither couple had been to Stream Cliff before, so we were not quite sure what to expect.
What we found was a rustic setting with a very accomplished staff. It is one of those places where the more you wonder about, the more you want to wonder about. We did the wine tastings, wondered through the herb garden, the fan gardens, the small antique shop, the general store and settled into for lunch at the tea room. Lunch was far more than we anticipated. The quality of the servings was outstanding. The blackberry cobbler for dessert is not to be missed. Our waitress, Jamie, was knowledgeable, attentive and humorous.
