Love Pit Stop, one of my top 3 restaurants. Always great service and food in a locally owned race theme restaurant. If an Indy racing enthusiast you may see someone you recognize. Ribs are awesome as is the brisket sandwich or go for the Frank and Mary’s catfish. Can’t go wrong.

We went to Pit Stop early in it's existence and weren't very impressed. But the past few weeks, we've been going once every week or two, and it's been great! The barbecue is fantastic, and the sides are great as well. My kids love going on Wednesday night for the buffet, which includes fish, barbecue, and sides. Pit Stop is a great local place in Brownsburg!

Gave this place a look and was a little disappointed, portions were small and ribs were bony. There was a group of 8 of us and nobody was happy with our choice this day. Ordered the ribs and polish dog with potato salad and baked beans. Needless to say the baked beans were the best thing I ate. The potato salad had a wang to it. Price wasn't to bad and parking was good. BBQ sauces were ok and about 4 different varieties. Restaurant was clean and help was ok.

Went with some friends on a Wednesday evening for dinner. Surprisingly large and nice on the inside (outside looks kind of nondescript). One of us had the regular catfish dinner, while two others had the catfish fillets. The 4th person in our group tried something else. We went there because they advertise they have "Frank & Mary's Catfish Recipe" -- another long-time restaurant in the area that at one time had the best catfish around, but went out of business a few years back. The catfish was pretty good, but maybe not as good as Frank & Mary's was, but still worth taking a trip for, since the other place is out of business. Service was good and we will probably go back another time to try the BBQ. Nice family restaurant with reasonable prices.

We had the fried catfish dinner, and it was excellent. The server (sorry, I forget her name) was friendly and appropriately attentive. We'll probably be back to try the Wednesday night buffet, and we'll also want to try the barbecue after reading some of the reviews.
