“Quiet compact country apartment”
Reviewed 20 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Perfectly located mid way between all attractions this is a very comfortable, cost effective property. Kitchen/dining area is compact but the standard of amenities make up for that.
A small pool a bonus and a very helpful owner make this a great place to stay.We would recommend this property to any couple seeking a quiet holiday let.

“Quiet and peacful”
Reviewed 12 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

The property is in a rural area surrounded by farms and a vineyard.and the garden is very private. The rooms were fairly small but comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could ask for. Heather is a lovely host. The bedroom has a small terrace that soaks up the sun all day.
The location is ideal for exploring the local area but no shops or restaurants close by, nearest boulongerie about 10 minutes away.
Plunge pool was good for the hot days

“Very Picturesque and Peacful”

Stayed here for a week at the end of August. The main house is a great building, the gîte is on the side of the house and has everything you need for a weeks accommodation. The living area is poky, with the kitchen facilities, dining room and sofa bed all in one small space. We quickly got used to it however and it was very purposeful and practical with all kitchen utensils and dinnerware you would need. We mainly sat on the terrace in the evenings which led from the bedroom which was a decent size, with a table and two chairs. The garden is very well kept and so relaxing to sit in after a hard days walking around the local towns. The one thing that stood out for us was how well kept and clean everything was, a credit to the owner (Heather). The private plunge pool provided much fun and cooling services and definitely the USP of the this place. You definitely need a car to drive around the area and visit all the towns and villages. We did however enjoy a very nice walk through the countryside to a village called Meyssac on Sunday which was about a 12k round trip, with a stop for lunch in between.
The location of this gite is great for driving down to the Dordogne and other touristy attractions in the area.
