“Great place to stay, with excellent views.”
Reviewed 6 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

My first visit to Shropshire, (hubby had walked Offa's Dyke many years ago) the area is beautiful. We were met by Jean & Paul who were very welcoming, they showed us everything we needed to know, even the utility room below the studio flat, this housed boxed games, jigsaw puzzles, DVD's and books. Stiperstones studio is quite lovely, the bedroom/lounge area is light and airy with plenty of room, the bed is the most comfortable one I've ever slept in. The views from the lounge window are stunning looking out over the rolling hills with the Stiperstones in the distance. The kitchen/dining area caters well for your stay. We were warned that there was no mobile phone reception but the Wi-Fi is good. We have had a very peaceful and relaxing stay there. Thank you Jean & Paul for a lovely stay. We would highly recommend this holiday let.

Liked best: the peace and quiet with stunning views.

“Another wonderful stay in Stiperstones view”
Reviewed 25 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

I can not praise this holiday rental highly enough. Its warm and comfortable, with all the amenities we could ask, and made even more special by the warm welcome from the owners. The area is ideal for walks in the gentle rolling hills, full of interest with remnants of its interesting past - from iron age hill forts and eathworks, ancient churches and castles, to more recent mining activity.
The towns and villages around all have their own charm, so whatever the weather there is something to do. Stiperstones view is very nicely located between Shrewsbury, Bishops Castle, Church Streton and Ludlow, all only a few miles away and all worth a visit.

“Peace and Quiet with no interruptions.”
Reviewed 12 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Stiperstones view had everything we wanted. It was well equipped and everything worked. The furnishings were all very comfortable and had we not eaten out most of the time the kitchen would have been a great place to prepare a meal. If you like a great view you won't be disappointed, you can see for miles if clear which is was during our visit. If you want to get away from the mobile this place will suit you well as they just don't work here, I had to walk about 300 metres up the road before I could make a call, bliss for some, hell for others! The surrounding area is a great place to walk and we took advantage of some of the printed walks provided at the property. If you like getting up there for a great view try The Stiperstone, Long Mynd and Mitchell's Fold Stone circle, all in easy driving distance. This quite simply is a great place to find peace and quiet.

Lovely to have you stay, and found lots of our locals to eat at! We do like Stiperstones Inn for price, service and general VFM, while we have found that the Sun at Marton is great for a special occasion. Plus The Crown at Wentnor for their pies, and Inn on the Green for Sunday carvery. Add in The Bridges, Abel's Harp, Balti Spice and you have 7 days catered:-) And I forgot Three Tuns, Castle Hotel......

“Perfect weekend”
Reviewed 31 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Booked the studio at last minute due to being let down by another holiday company. Directions to the property were great and we surprised ourselves by finding the farm first time! Lovely warm welcome from Paul who showed us around and into the studio, we were left to ourselves which we greatly appreciated however we knew if we needed anything Paul and his wife were just across the drive! Even though they are just across the drive, it feels like you're all alone which is great! The studio is well equipped (there's even a nut cracker among the other utensils!) and very comfy with stunning views. The wifi didn't seem to work when we were there but this was no problem as it gave us an internet free weekend, I am sure if we had spoke to the owners they would have sorted this for us. Hope to return soon to the studio or to the cottage. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality and for the jar of homemade jam we received on our departure!

Sorry about the wifi, I thought you had connected. We have a booster which I can provide which relays the signal more efficiently but slows the speed to half so I generally check if guests have connected before I plug it in. My fault, but glad the break was relaxing.
