How is this the number 10 Restaurant in St. Charles? It should be number one! The atmosphere is phenomenal, in an old church. It was not at all crowded when we were there, I'm sure that's unusual. The food was absolutely phenomenal. ! They have a large Menu and then an entire sheet of specials. Bread was great. Wine awesome and service was excellent. I cannot wait to go back.

we went for my mother's birthday - there were 5 of us (2 kids). We had reservations but they ended up setting a table for us in the balcony (upstairs was unset and we were up there all by ourselves). I think because we had children? I was a bit concerned about the service (being possibly forgotten about since we were up sitting by ourselves not in the main room). But i was wrong - they were very attentive. The appetizer and food came out promptly.
we had a variety of things - marsala (good flavor), pizza (excellent), Calamari app (pretty good), Capone dish (only ok).
Overall the ambience was great, service was fantastic and attentive. Food pretty good. We will go back.

We met friends here who we've known for decades, and for their first time here they were very impressed with the food and ambiance. Everything was great.

This restaurant, tucked away on a “side street,” is a hidden gem. We were there to celebrate the 70th birthday of a family member and the restaurant couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were seated in the main dining room and course after course was fresh and flavorful. Our family is Italian and many of us are excellent cooks so compliments about Italian restaurant food don’t come easily. Food gets an A+, service gets an A+. Don’t pass up this hidden gem!

Good food, reasonable prices, and great service! Can't ask for much more. Owner was raised in Italy, so the food flavors were spot on. Salad dressing had the exact proportions of ingredients: not too oily or tart. Huge variety of yummy entrees. Ours were perfectly cooked. We also got their thin crusted wood burning oven pizza to go which my husband loved. Cici (Cece?) was an excellent waitress: very attentive, as were the support staff. She knew about various wines, cocktails and menu items. She came to the table several times and was very pleasant. We tasted a complimentary tiramisu, since we had a special celebration which was perfection. We will be back soon and will bring our friends.
