Great Location

I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews on here. Front desk staff is friendly. The rooms are really nice (although the pillows are not comfortable) and you can not beat the location. You can take the airport shuttle to the hotel (great service) and it's maybe a 10 walk to the Rosemont Blue Line L station which will take you downtown. If you're seeing a show at the Rosemont Theatre it takes you maybe 5 minutes to walk. The breakfast was good (friendly omelet makers and clean up staff) although the evening drinks could be better. Some people complained about noise from atrium which is really only a bother if you are still sleeping when breakfast is served. I would definitely stay here again.

Average quality hotel, but very expensive = poor value

What happened? Room was OK, elevator was insalely slow and the prices were crazy high for everything. The complimentary managers reception is only 90 minutes, limited to 2 drinks and they put out Goldfish for the "light snack". Ouch! The breakfast wasn't as good as the one at the Hampton we stayed at earlier.

Pleasant Stay

We had a great stay. The hotel is beautiful and staff is super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was a bit under par with some of the potatoes being under cooked and the sausage was on the rubbery side but we were thankful for the hot breakfast because every thing else was great! Conveniently located about 10 min walk from CTA the "L" train which will take you into Chicago. Google maps is a good feature to help know which transfer line to take. We loved it here at Embassy Suites!

Bad Trip gone good

My family and I traveled for a funeral. The trip was not an enjoyable one, however, the hotel staff and accommodations were the easiest thing about this trip. The room was great and the sleep was awesome. Everything was very clean.

Tired and old. Needs help.

We were placed here by AA after our plane was delayed. So beggars can’t be choosy. But I stayed here in 2005 and a lot has changed. It’s old and tired. We came in to our room to find a “Wet chair” sign on the table. Air conditioning didn’t work. Restaurant area was run down and busy. Two workers who were pleasant and kept hustling. Quesadillas were tasty. Beer was cold. Back to room - hand towel was stained. My favorite - the wash clothe from the prior (?) guest over the shower curtain. Evidence of a thorough cleaning lol. Sofa was stained. Breakfast - just poor for a Hilton and this Honors member is ticked off about it. This was once a modern hotel. It’s now a throwback from another era. But again we didn’t pay anything so there is that.

Room tip: Go somewhere else
