“Great place for heathy food.”

Blissful Banana Cafe
Ranked #11 of 235 Restaurants in Orland Park
Cuisines: Healthy
Description: This new "healthier fare" restaurant just opened in January, 2012. It is quickly becoming very popular. Menu includes sandwiches made with nitrate-free meats, veggie sandwiches, locally grown organic produce for salads, fresh baked scones and gourmet coffees. They already have feedback listed on Yelp and all are positive. I'd like to add a review on Trip Advisor and would like to see this restaurant added.

Good healthy food options. Quiet atmosphere. We are outside and enjoyed music from restaurant across the street.

My daughter took me here for dinner. Food was good, service was decent. Sandwiches and items along that nature. I would try it again.

Revisited for lunch again and it was still good. Had the Cuban sandwich. Tasted good. Well prepared. Bread was fresh and tasty. Also had sweet potato mash which name is deceiving. It’s more like sweet potato strings. Good. Friend had Waldorf salad as a wrap and enjoyed. The menu has more items since my last visit. They keep the items interesting. A number of people stopped in for their coffee so probably good as well. Worth a visit.

Dined with friend for lunch for first time. Spacious restaurant with booths and tables. Menu has a great variety. Breakfast served until 11a weekdays and 1p Friday and Saturday. Dined on Tuesday and had the Angel lea salad in a spinach wrap. Dressing and bbq sauce were tasty. Salad was fresh and hearty. Friend had the cauliflower tacos with sweet potato hash. Both were very good and different. Flavorful cauliflower is hard to do. Although fried not too heavy. Sauce and pickled onions made the dish. Will revisit to try more of the dishes. Great options.
