John has worked hard at increasing the ambience of his restaurant. He has installed noise reduction panels in the ceiling which has definitely made a difference in your dining experience.
Food is very good. Price is reasonable.
Staff is attentive. Full drink service. Limited wine menu. Separate bar and gaming area, if you are interested.
Worth a visit!
First time here on 12/26. Very clean, upper-scale, unique decor, friendly service, bar and burger place. Televisions with sports etc. Did I mention the black Angus burgers? Also have bison and other sandwiches and dishes. On my top 5 list. Reasonable prices. Don't miss this one!
Enjoyed dinner ...the atmosphere, the menu, the service...all excellent. The owner is on site, stopped by the table to check in. Not overly busy so service was attentive without being intrusive. GREAT soups. Nice variety. Will be back next time we are in town. Open for lunch and dinner.
Visited for lunch with friend. Open at 11am but was deserted at 11:45am. That changed quickly. Looked forward to their seasonal butternut squash soup and it is delicious. Not cream based just puréed squash and flavor. It's almost chunky. I enjoyed the variety. Creamy is good also but fresh puréed was nice. We also ordered John's salad to share. Owner came out to apologize that the fresh greens were not to his liking and suggested a different mix. Appreciated the notice and offer to change. Bread is freshly baked in house and warm. Enough for 2 so no waste. Only comment was the salad dressing; it was gel like. Considering the good fare, I expected better. Minor concern that can easily be addressed. Very good healthy lunch.
