What a wonderful restaurant, a converted lovely old house.
The food and service was excellent.
Our waitress Diane W was so friendly and attentive, she deserves 5 stars too!
I had the Cornish hen,it was fried but it was delicious. My sister had the flat iron steak and my brother in law had the BBQ ribs everything was delicious. Had the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Can’t wait to go back for lunch!

Went with two other couples on a Friday night (5:30). The restaurant was not busy yet. We all ordered different entrees. Several had the house wine. It was good but the glass price ($12.00) was more expensive then many other wines offered. We all enjoyed our dinners. The Crab Cakes & Grits and the Catfish were outstanding. Service was very attentive. When we left the place was very crowded.

Recently a friend and I visited The Patten House for dinner. This restaurant is located in a restored home. The experience of sitting in the parlor and enjoying the atmosphere was a treat. We toasted the evening with glasses of Moscato and then opted for small plates rather than a dinner entree. We began with the Bacon Wrap Figs and Brussels Sprouts. Both offerings were delicious. Perfectly roasted and seasoned. We then ordered the Beef Skewers and Coconut Ginger Shrimp. Six large shrimp were breaded and fried to perfection. The accompanying sauce was yummy. The beef was also seasoned and prepared well.
The portions are not small (even though our server Don warned us). We had more food than we could eat but, of course, we took the leftovers home. Our meal came to a delicious end with Creme Brulee shared. All in all, a very enjoyable dinner.

This is an old house converted into a warm and inviting restaurant serving up great cocktails and good food. I’m not a cajun or creole seasoning fan, so there are some items on the menu I’ll never order, but the salmon was great. The brussell sprouts were delicious!
They have a nice deck and an outdoor patio that are great when the weather cooperates. With furniture set in the yard, its a great place to meet the ladies for a glass of wine and conversation.

Stopped for a Sunday evening dinner. The house is beautiful inside and out, a real must see. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat outside. The seating area was nice and there is even a washroom outside.

Our server was very friendly, though would disappear for long periods of time. We had red beans and rice and bacon wrapped figs for apps. Both were delicious. By the time our entrees game it was dark out and there was not enough light outside, nor any at our table. So it was difficult to see your food. I had the blackened Grouper which was good, but not great. Everyone in our group felt the same about the entrees.....good, not great. The house Merlot was delicious.
