Patten House is an historic home converted to a fine dining restaurant. It feels like you have been invited to someone's home for dinner. The food is delicious. You must try the Brussels sprouts and crab cake appetizers.

Great "southern" flavor menu. Appetizers that are wonderful: oysters rockefellar, lobster mac n cheese, glazed Brussels spouts (and I normally don't touch those with a 10 ft pole!!!!) crab cake. Entrees are wonderful and sandwiches good too. (like mufallata sandwich New Orleans style) or Shrimp Poor Boy (although too much bread for me-usually end up eating with fork and knife) Never have room for dessert! Cocktails are great too!!!

The Brussels sprouts were good. The prime rib good. All the other dinners we ordered were good. But nothing was outstanding. We were there early so there were a lot of young teenagers that work at the restaurant fooling around in the hallway. Not good
The prices about $30 and up. The house was beautiful.

We often go here for lunch, especially in warm weather. We love their outdoor patio, but the renovated old home that is the main restaurant is lovely if it isn't too loud. We find the menu somewhat uneven, but we do have some favorite menu items. Their siracha honey glazed Brussel Sprouts are legendary -- that's my meal whenever we go there for lunch. We also recommend the jamabalaya, muffaletta, and beet salad. The real draw here, though, is the setting.

Liked the atmosphere, were seated in room upstairs that was spacious and quiet, though perhaps because customers are spread out our service wasn't great. Food was Meh! We all had different entrees and I didn't they even looked appealing. My shrimp gumbo did have nice amount of large shrimp and serving size was large but tasted very mediocre. Same with all our entrees- good size serving but nothing outstanding, especially for the prices!
