Food was good, service quick, a small intimate chapel turned small intimate restaurant. We loved it and will DEFINITELYreturn when we go back thru this area again !

This place is one of my top places to eat. I'm first a fan of good service and Gwen the waitress is second to none in this area. Then comes the the food. OMG, OMG!!!. The baked goods that come out of the kitchen are nothing but heaven. Your meal prepaired by Dan the chef is spot on every time. This is a must stop for you if you haven't tried it yet. I've had many different meals here and have left here very happy every time. Do yourself a favor and stop in to see Gwen and Dan the chef.

This restaurant is little pricey but well worth it. The meals are excellent and the restaurant is an old quaint church.

Holy Mackerel is a great find in our tiny town of Elizabeth. The restaurant is located in an old, tiny church that Dan and his wife have tastefully and eclectically decorated. Definitely call for a reservation before you go - in the off-season they may stop serving early. There is a tin ceiling, which can be loud, but the food is worth it. Try to get a table in the back above the din.
I recommend the rib eye with the side of Holy Mac and Cheese and all of the appetizers are amazing!
Great wines, great food - take your time and enjoy. A little pricey, but again - worth it for special occasions.
Enjoy!
