The Hyatt Regency Deerfield provides an all around quality experience. Rooms are well laid-out, clean, and functional. Checkin staff is friendly and efficient. And the breakfast experience was fantastic. If you are lucky enough to receive service from Luis, you’ll be welcomed and care for - his service and demeanor is top notch.

Wonderful experience for business meeting on site. Had no control over the continental breakfast choice of our organizer, however I personally would have preferred some protein other than yogurt as choice in morning.

The room we were assigned seemed like a very recent rehab. Large, spacious, modern, clean and comfortable room. Coat Hangers on wall convenient during winter. Mini fridge, Keurig machine. Large TV in living room and also in bedroom, large sofa.
Bathroom was very spacious, double sink and both a tub and separate shower with a modern glass tile. We were facing the expressway and had no issues with noise.

Gym is on ground level, windowless, but has all machines. Unfortunately no pool or hot tub.

Breakfast was pretty good, service was a bit slow but friendly. But overall good quality and fairly priced.

All the staff was highly professional, I was able to get late checkout with out a problem. Wifi was good.

Parking is free. This is a business hotel located next to Walgreens and many other offices, so expect a business hotel ambiance. Because of that not too busy during weekend.

Overall enjoyed my stay and would recommend as long as you are not looking for a swimming pool.

Stayed here one night, on business. Overall, nothing spectacular, but not terrible.

The hotel is in an office-park like area; do not expect to be able to walk to anything. Parking was free and not a problem. Inconveniently, the hotel had closed its front entrance for some reason, which required a walk through a courtyard to access the lobby. If the hotel is going to have that entry experience, it needs to diligently clear the pathway from snow and ice and ensure good lighting; this had been done inconsistently, which was annoying (particularly in the dark).

Service at the hotel wasn’t anything special, but was not bad. This applies to check-in and placing an order to pick-up food at the bar. That said, the lack of room service was annoying—no menu was available in the room (or on the TV), requiring you to go to the lobby to order food and then return to the lobby to pick it up later. (At some point, full service properties will start to realize that unless they bring back the hallmarks of full service—e.g., room service, etc.—there’s no reason for people to stay in them as compared to limited service properties that cost less.)

The room itself was very nice. I was on an upper floor; compared to the (poor) condition of the lower floor hallways, it appeared that the rooms had been recently renovated. The room was spacious and stylish, with a nice desk, ample seating area, comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, etc.

The meal I ordered from the bar proved disappointing. The bar staff member, though nice, had no idea what wines were on offer, and the menu had very limited offerings. Although the meal cost what normal room service would cost (a small salad, pasta course, and glass of wine was over $50–despite picking it up myself!), it was served in paper boxes with plastic cutlery. By the time I got to my room, the pasta had turned into a gloopy, nearly inedible mess. I’m not quite sure why Covid means that meals can’t be served on plates or real silverware might be used.

The fitness center was nice, with functional and modern equipment and good lighting.

Overall, the room was nice, but gaps in the full service experience meant my stay felt like I wasn’t staying at a true Hyatt. Not terrible, but not great.

We apologize that our front door entrance was out of service during your visit and that the snow wasn't removed timely. Booked a cold weekend in Chicago, 10 degree's outside. Surprised to find out that the Hotel had low bookings, which there was no way I could know.
Both days we had no hot water, and I was told it was because of low occupancy. Staff was very friendly but extremely sparse. Very limited on restaurant times, again because of the occupancy.
