Recently stayed at this fantastic hotel. Great location and very picturesque setting. Staff all very helpful and cheerful. Great pool, recommend the complimentary boat trip around the lake as some great birds all around. Food was excellent served outside in the peaceful gardens by the lake. Overall a really pleasent stay.

Me & my husband had been to Vasundhara Sarovar for a short weekend trip in July 2018.A quick drive from Kochi, situated in the quaint area of Vayalar, amidst beautiful surroundings. Its an ideal get away from the hustle & bustle of the city. Its a Beautiful Resort in well planned Landscaping. We were welcomed by smiling female staff with a traditional welcome. The Lobby is awesome,it reflects Kerala architecture. We were escorted to our Deluxe Suite. The large luxury rooms is each themed on a different plant or herb type. There is an intricately carved stone that forms the headboard, and the entire decor of the room is very artistic as per the local theme. Our suite room overlooked the swimming pool and had a fantastic view of the entire Resort. The Resort has a variety of offerings in terms of accommodation, they have Floating Cottages,Vasundhara Suites,Deluxe Suites & Superior Rooms. And each has a unique offering. There are not many activities to do around the Resort. So if you just want to enjoy the outdoors and walk around it's good. There is a Games Room but it was not at all well maintained and we could not stand there for more than few minutes. The Spa is very excellent. There is an Ayurvedic Doctor at the Spa who counsels you on your health. The Spa services offered are very good.In the early evening there is special Tea Offering at the "Chai Kada"where they offer you the "Meter Chai".This is an awesome experience. The Bar has a beautiful ambience and the artist singing there was really melodious.Staff is very helpful and hospitable. One of the staff at the Front Desk took us on a tour of the whole property and showed us the various cottages & villages, also showed us the fishing deck, houseboat and all around the green landscape. The only disappointing thing in this Beautiful Property is that food is very pathetic. When you come to such a wonderful Resort in Kerala you expect the tasty Kerala Cuisine to be served. But it was not so.The food is not at all based on local cuisine and what is dished out is really of bad quality. We even tried to have Ala Carte but that was also had no great variety.

Nice hotel with clean rooms, courteous staff and reasonable food. Would be good if they could increase food options. Facilities are also good for a small conference. Overall a reasonable stay and would not mind coming back. Value for money
