Reserved room (king) unavailable at checkin, put in double room and had to switch next day. It was a complete disaster, no one knew what was going on. Said they would text us but didn't. All day long we had no room and no access to our luggage.
They tried to check us back in to the double room. No one knew where our luggage was. The front desk person finally found us a king room, basic, no upgrade for our inconvenience. She said she'd call us to check in on the status of our luggage and never did.
We asked for a refrigerator for our room, it never showed up and the request wasn't even acknowledged.
I spent almost a full day with no room, which I paid for. I spent what felt like hours in lines and waiting for people to figure out our room / luggage situation. The service in the hotel bar was horrible, more waiting. No apologies, no concessions, nothing. I won't stay here again, and likely won't stay at a Sheraton again. One mistake is forgivable, several is indicative of a trend.
