We came here just before sun set. Insane views of the city at this time of day. It was still cold out so there was a big fire pit set up on the balcony. Really nice vibe inside too. Drinks are pricy but well worth it for the location. One of the highlights of our trip and not to be missed!

We enjoyed two glasses of wine around 11:30 PM for $32, we went to bar ourselves. We had fantastic seats on couch overlooking park. Busy place but not packed, fun atmosphere! Outside patio had two fire pits to hang out but it closed at 12 midnight.

We felt lucky to grab a few seats at the bar and indulged in several expertly crafted cocktails while soaking up the sights, sounds and tastes of Chicago. Cindy’s is a great stop after a trip to Millennium Park or the Art Institute. Cindy’s offers some of the best views of the city skyline, and the expansive Lake Michigan. Highly recommend a reservation on weekend nights if you want food.

We checked out this place upon recommendation of a local friend.
Since we were only interested in drinks and apps, we could not get a table unless we were gonna have a full dinner.
We stood around and just had cocktails. The bartenders know what they’re doing. The drinks were expensive but so freakin good.
The view outside of millennium park and the lake are great.

I came here as part of a business dinner, not knowing a lot about the restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the pork belly and chaucaterie boards. The wine list was also good and the server very helpful with selecting meals that would work for our group and price range. Do keep in mind that they focus on shared plates, and the food is not inexpensive (ranging from $20-120 for a plate to share, although the portions are generous). I would certainly eat here again with the a group, as it is fun to try so many dishes. They did, however, have trouble splitting the bill for the bottles of wine.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated with wood and glass in a lovely historic building, although it is loud. The patio area has a big fire pit and looks out over Millennium Park, and the view is of course fantastic.

Although there are several elevators in the Chicago Athletic Club and they all have a button to take you up to Cindy's, only one elevator actually goes up there (the far one in the line). The others will just stop and not go anywhere when you press the button.

All in all I would definitely recommend going to Cindy's for a delicious dinner with friends and family with a great view!
