I tried to make a reservation for Labor Day weekend two weeks before and they did not have ANYTHING available until the Tuesday after Labor Day. So we thought if we got there at 10 AM when they opened we would be fine. WRONG! We got there at 10 AM and the line for people with reservations was huge and there was a separate line for people without reservations. We waiting about 15 minutes until we rode the elevator upstairs. Once we got there there were 35 people in front of us so we gave them our number and went to the bar. We order two very overpriced drinks and made our way outside to look at the views. The have sofas outside that are free seating and they serve you all food and everything out there as well. We took some pictures of the views and enjoyed our drinks and then space opened up on one of the sofas so we got in and ordered. We ordered the Chilaquiles and our friends ordered the apple pie with salted caramel ice cream. Both items were absolutely amazing!! I am still craving the apple pie and the chilaquiles! I will definitely be returning here the next time I am in Chicago! You have an amazing view of Lake Michigan as well as Millenium Park and Cloud Gate from up there! I highly recommend!

The rooftop bar of the Athletic Association of Chicago is really great. Beautiful design, superb glass roof. The view over Millennium Park, the Marina and and the Navy Pier is simply awesome. Great to see the Bean from above. Do visit the outdoor terrace, do cool.
The bar is very popular, most times fairly crowded and at least in the evenings with a high noice level, but great atmosphere.
Really good and attentive service. Great drinks and a good selection of wines also by the glass. Surprisingly good food. Quite often rooftop bar/restaurants have really bad food. But it is not so at Cindy's. Here the food is great.

I went for the view and a drink. My Jamison and ginger ale was as usual, yummy especially on a warm day.
Now for the view, utterly spectacular!! No other way to say it! A virtual panorama of Lake Michigan.
It crowds up as the work day ends, be aware.

This place is awesome! Welcoming and energizing atmosphere, with the best view in Chicago. Breathtaking view with a great bar. I have visited Chicago four other times but have never experienced anything like I did at Cindy's. Do NOT MISS THIS PLACE.

We were recommended Cindy's as a place for us to have a memorable lunch with a great view. We were not disappointed. Made reservations a day in advance and told them we were celebrating an anniversary. They reserved us a wonderful table with a spectacular view of Millennium Park. Our waitress, Hillary, treated us great. Food was excellent but relatively expensive as expected. I strongly recommend Cindy's.
