The food at Tanta was very creative and enjoyed the experience. The server brought fried plantains with a dipping sauce to the table along with our pisco sours.
We started with beef and corn empanadas, both fantastic and left you wanting more. The ribs were tasty as well as the chupe ramen with shrimp. The most interesting dish was the clasica causita, which was chilled whipped Peruvian potatoes with crab on top. It tasted like nothing we have ever eaten before and will be back! If you have any interest in Peruvian cuisine I would highly recommend this restaurant.
