We stayed here for a corporate sponsored event, and the facility did everything they could to cater to the family's and couples at the event. The gentleman working in the pool, entertaining the kids was fantastic. The spa and fitness facility were on the top floor, and had exceptional views. The food, and cocktails were great. The rooms were awesome, and the little details that they added to the rooms were wonderful. You can tell that who ever runs this hotel thinks of the little details, and this is what makes it so special. The morning we were there, they gave my daughter a bath robe, and slippers for her american girl doll to keep. Also, left toiletries bag for the kids, plus left a tray of cookies, gummy bears, and Jello for them too. The only thing was we didn't have a room with a great view, but if we did, it would of been perfect.

The Peninsula Hotel in Chicago exceeded expectations in every respect. I was there for a 3 day stay for business and the entire hotel staff (bellmen, concierge, front desk, restaurant, etc) went out of their way to make the visit as pleasurable as possible. The concierge staff was accommodating provided excellent and very prompt service. The spa and fitness facility was in the top tier of hotel facilities and the hotel room was large and beautiful. Request rooms facing Michigan Ave, above 15th floor.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking Michigan Avenue, above 15th floor.

This hotel caters to clients who like I visualized attention that is beyond good customer service. They reached over board to make sure we had what we needed and suggested things we did not know we could have.
Beautiful decor, larger than average rooms, elegant furnishings in good to new conditions. Sheets and bedding top in its class comparable to a Ritz. And staff that make you feel like a VIP from the minute you arrive. It's essentially around the corner from Saks and is in a very central location for Michigan Ave and Oak Street shopping.

This might not be the newest, swankiest hotel in Chicago, but you cannot beat the Peninsula service. From the doorman to the servers in the restaurant, concierge, room service staff, and housekeeping, the service just shines here. The location of the hotel is perfect for shopping and restaurants. We had afternoon tea at the Lobby, which was just divine. The rooms were not exactly modern, but spatious and decorated with warm tones. TV in the bathroom made a lot of sense as we caught up on morning news while getting ready. I would definitely come back here when I return to Chicago.

This hotel is stunning, and worth every penny for a luxury getaway. It is expensive, but you get your moneys worth. We have stayed here on special occasions 3 times. The view cannot be topped, the beds are so comfortable, the rooms are impeccable and the service, over the top. The spa is fabulous, I highly recommend a massage. We bring our small dog with us and he loves the pampering too, they allow small pets under 20lbs, ours is 16lbs. They treat him with a big fluffy dog bed, food and water dishes with bottled water and a Pet Room Service Menu, due to his small size, and lack of posable thumbs he was not able to order on his own. :)

Room service (for humans) is also done with well, food is served piping hot, the tables set in your room with all the accoutrements silver, china, flowers, lovely! The Sunday brush expensive, does not include alcohol, and also worth every penny. They have a mimosa cart they take table to table and mix for you table side, the bloody mary's are spicy, so be careful.

We loved our stay, and look forward to the next indulgence!
