Located in Wicker Park and Bucktown's arty community, this place holds a myriad of different items from paintings, photography, glass art, lamps, wearable art like jewelry, makeup, clothing, hats. They have hand made items, some recycled items; there's local Chicago wares as well as fair-traded stuff from Asia and India; they also have out-of-state vendors--but all work is unique. I go there often and the owner is very personable. Best off all, its affordable art, I have seen lots of stuff from $10, paintings for $30, small items from $3 unlike arts fests etc where everything is beyond reach. Thats why I liked this place even before I knew anyone here.
I will agree not everything is worth buying but then just being there is fun, the designers keep changing items on their racks, walls and booths, its like a shop with 50 small shops inside, each different from the next. Its like a tiny shopping mall of artistic items.
Definite must-go in Chicago.
