Better to have a GPS or Google maps to find this B&B. When you arrive to the very narrow “cul de sac” where the house is located you might have a negative feeling about the location, (cul de sac, highway not far...). Don’t worry. Once you find the house and enter the garden it’s already better and once you meet Giovanna and Roberto nothing can go wrong. Enter the house and in a couple of minutes you understand that an architect is living here (lots of nice details and fine furniture). Roberto and Giovanna are super hosts, they made our stay an unforgettable stay and I just hope that other travellers have the chance to meet these lovely and sophisticated couple. We got the “Deluxe room” as an upgrade offer and we loved it. There’s a big window with impressive views to Palermo and Monreale. Decoration is sophisticated (as all over the house), comfortable bed, nice large bathroom. Wi-Fi a bit slow in the bedroom but who cares? Breakfast was very good, although I preferred the second day. Some foreigners would appreciate a bigger coffee (americano) which was a bit difficult to get but the espresso was great. Fresh bread would be also a “plus” for breakfast but we cannot complain, we got an Apfelstrudel just baked in the morning. Palermo is not far by car, you just have to get used to the “Sicilian parking system”. In fact the traffic itself was not so chaotic as in most of the towns in Europe, only the driving is a bit more “aggressive” (or "virile"?...). Loved this house and wish a lot of success to Giovanna and Roberto.
