How the river can do bubbles and nobody knows how. Amazing water. 10° degrees. The colour is transparent except in blue eye that is blue. The ticket cost 100 lek x car and 50 lek per persona. There are a restaurant there that u can eat or drink something. You have to go if you go to albanian. It’s a must

The "Syri i Kaltër" (Blue Eye) is a natural source of water with a long story about his origin and also is one of the most attractive places to be visited when you go to Saranda Bay. This year this place it was visited by thousands of domestic and foreigner tourists and the freshnes of waterflow and the 10 degree temperature invite you also to have some watter contact if you wish. The restaurant close to this point serves traditional baked meat and a lot of delicious cooks from south of Albania.

Very nice place to visit, even if you don't get there pretty easy and there are a lot of tourists, it's definitely worth it!

We decided to visit this place based on all the good reviews on our way back from Gjirokastra to Saranda. When we arrived in the afternoon the place was supercrowded with people (many of them jumping into the blue eye), cars and busses. The blue eye itself and the surrounding nature is beautiful but in our opinion totally overrated as there are probably better places to visit which are less crowded. Maybe a good idea to visit in the early morning for a better experience. Overall, would only recommend visiting if you have a lot of extra time.

It is a small and quite nice place (if you were there alone) but it is extremely over crowded and I don’t see what the hype is all about.

In my opinion it is not worth a visit, unless you know for sure that you are there during off-season when all the cars and crowds are gone.
