My girlfriend and i stayed for a week on this camping!

I can really recomend it to everyone, the site is really beautifull and the personel is incredebily friendly and flexibel!! :)

I'm amazed by how they manage to make it comfortable for everyone!

In my opinion its very well suited for family holydays with kids aswell as for people seeking a calm and quiet place to stay

Then there were all kinds of very nice activities that we absolutely loved, especially the concert in the manoir, what an expierence!

(And on a funny note: even the water was always warm) :)

So i would again like to thank the staff for everything! :) :)

Milles mercis,

Matthieu

What a lovely site, in a very pretty region. The management and staff were superb, the facilities for children were not only excellent, but were free. The restaurant served superb food, and we had two excellent acoustic concerts whilst there - one in the restaurant, and one in the chateau. We visited Honfleur, Lisieux and Trouville, as well as numerous pretty villages in the area. We had a first rate holiday, and it was only three hours from Calais.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst travelling through France in our camper van. Although more expensive than other places we have stayed, we loved this campsite. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We chose our pitch by the beautiful lake and enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The toilet block and showers were immaculate. A great place to come with children due to the playgrounds/pool. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because for the price we would have liked free wifi. However, we would definitely return and have recommended this stunning campsite to friends and family.

The visit to Le Brevedent was our first experience of camping outside the UK - I can't wait to return.

Everything about the site was fantastic, starting with the friendly welcome from Nicole who showed us to our pitch. Le Brevedent is a busy site (especially in the summer holidays) with probably a few hundred people on site, but it never felt overcrowded.

The setting is beautiful, in the grounds of the wonderful old hunting lodge with its lake. The shower and toliet blocks were clean - being with my 7 year old son I welcomed the large 'family bathrooms' which meant we could shower and change together. It took an age for the water to warm up, but otherwise the shower facilities were great.

My son loved the bouncy castle that was up all day and the children's playground, and spent many an hour running around making friends with the other kids.

There is a small shop on site selling food and basic provisions - bread and pastries are delivered fresh each morning, but you have to pre-order in Reception by the previous evening.

There is a cafe open in the daytime and a restaurant in the evening which also does takeaways - the pizza from there was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended!

The only slight downside was the number of paid extras - 2 Euros a day for Wi-Fi (available only at the bar and cafe), an extortionate 2 Euros a game for the pool table and 3 Euros to borrow oars to take the canoes on the lake.

For some reason the bells of the local church ring for 3 minutes at 7am, so no chance of sleeping late, but obviously that isn't the fault of the campsite!

My son and I had an amazing time here - he loved the facilities, the playgrounds, the swimming pool and the lake and feeding the friendly campsite chickens who wandered over every morning to see us.

A wonderful place - friendly, fun and safe. Can't wait to go back!

Had a wonderful week here in August with Eurocamp and we glamped in a Safari tent. Pitches were pretty tight which doesn't come across on brochures but it was high season. It's a fantastic "back to nature" spot and we had a laid back unforgettable week. Staff were all brilliant, Eurocamp reps Caroline and Stan were lovely and gave excellent advice of local ideas of restaurants and things to do off and on site. We loved the canoes on the lake, the wifi cafe green, campsite cider, the roaming chickens and veg patch for campers. Every night we went to bed listening to Tawny owls in the woods behind our tent which was magical. The music nights in the Chateau and restaurant and jazz cafe afternoon were wonderful and restaurant decent too, really good homecooked pizzas to takeaway. Pool is perfectly fine. The only things which disappointed us were the lower main toilet block needed more regular cleaning in high season as it was grotty a lot of the time and we had couple of varying temperature showers!
